GYC is the ideal place to learn to sail in London!
We are a a Royal Yachting Association accredited Training centre and can help you go from complete beginner to racing one of our club dinghies, crewing on a members cruiser down the Thames or sailing your own boat across oceans!
Training courses at the club
- Dinghy – RYA Level 1 and 2
- Powerboat – Level 1 and Level 2
- Keel boat
- Safety Boat
- Trot Boat
- Race Officer
Many of the cruiser owners welcome additional crew, giving you the opportunity to log sea miles and gain experience.
