Yard
fees for all craft but excluding yacht tenders
PLEASE NOTE Boats:
£44.00 per metre per year up to a maximum length of 40 foot (12
meters).
Maximum time allowed in yard is 18 months after which boats
must be re-launched or removed Boat
building projects likely to take more than 18 months would be allowed only
at the discretion of the General Committee.
If after 18 months the General Committee decided that the boat was
not being worked on and had no prospect of being launched the owner would
be given three months to remove it. Failure to do so would constitute
abandonment of the boat and the costs to the Club in dealing with it would
accrue to the boat owner. Multi-hulls: £66.00 per metre
per year for up to 18 months and then to doubled to £132 per metre per
year. Under
Cover: £66.00 per square metre for first three
months; £75 per meter for next three
months and £l20 per
metre after six months.
Workshop:
£75.00 per square metre for first three months; £150 per meter
for next three months; and £200 per meter after six months. Use
of the Under Cover and
Workshop facilities beyond
three months are at the discretion of the General Committee.
At any time beyond three months the General Committee may ask the
owner to remove the boat. Failure
to do so within three months will incur an increased fee of £500 per
metre per year. Exception
to the above rules and fees may only be made in special circumstances by
the decision of the General Committee.
A general exception to any fee increase may be made for boats in
the yard that, in the General Committee's opinion (as advised by the
Harbour Master and Yard Master) are ready for launching but await
allocation of a mooring. |

Payment
of Fees Fees
are payable in advance or/and on receipt of an invoice.
The Harbourmaster/Yardmaster shall record the date of the entry of
the boat into the Yard and the date of its departure. The Treasurer shall
notify the Harbourmaster/Yardmaster when the invoice has been paid. Payment
is strictly 30 days net E&OE. Late
payments shall accrue a fine of £25.00 after 30 days, £50.00 after 60
days and membership of the club shall automatically lapse after 90 days. This is a copy of the Prices provided by the commodore. These prices serve as a guide and may change from time to time. A copy of the Treasurers Spreadsheet can also be viewed here. |
